I am an Associate Professor of International Studies at the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, Indiana University-Bloomington.

My areas of research are in international relations and political theory, with particular focus on topics in liberalism, democracy, diplomatic history, and modern Iran.

I also dabble in gardening and landscape architecture.
